Shehzada never speaks against Nawabs, Sultans: PM's 'Aurangazeb' attack on RaGa

• PM Modi slams Rahul Gandhi for alleging atrocities by Indian kings but overlooking historical oppressors like Aurangzeb
• Asserts, "Congress' Sehzada claims that Indian kings were oppressive but doesn't say a word about atrocities committed by nawabs, nizams, sultans"
• This remark comes after RaGa stated at a recent Karnataka rally that the Congress stopped land seizures by "kings and rulers" 

PM Narendra Modi, speaking at a rally in Karnataka's Belagavi on Sunday, criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging that Gandhi accused "kings of India" of atrocities but remained silent on nawabs, nizams, sultans, and badshahs. He further alleged that Rahul the Congress had never criticised Mughal emperor Aurangzeb who destroyed Hindu temples.

"Shehzada of Congress says that the kings of India were atrocious. They snatched the assets of the poor as per their wishes. The Shehzada of Congress has insulted great personalities like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Rani Chinamma, whose good governance and patriotism still motivate us. Does the Shehzada not know the contribution of the Mysuru Royal family, whom we all are proud of?" PM Narendra Modi said.

Rahul Gandhi reportedly stated at a recent Karnataka rally that the Congress stopped land seizures by "kings and rulers" through independence, democracy, and the Constitution's implementation.

PM Modi accused the "Congress Shehzada" of making such statements to appease the party's vote bank. 

"But the Shehzada does not say a word about the atrocities committed by the nawabs, nizams, sultans, and badshahs... Congress does not remember the atrocities committed by Aurangzeb who destroyed thousands of our temples. Congress forms political alliances with parties who praise Aurangzeb. They do not talk about all those who destroyed our pilgrimage sites, looted them, killed our people and killed cows," he added.
